Territory | Alfieri hills halfway between Asti and Alba

Cà Nadin is located near Alba and the Langhe, areas known for white truffles and the popular International Alba White Truffle Fair. During this period, our farmhouse offers  a special menu with dishes mainly prepared with White and Black truffles.

San Damiano d'Asti

Located 15 km from Asti and 45 km from Turin (the capital city of Piedmont), San Damiano d’Asti is a town in Upper Monferrato, an area that includes the extreme end of the Langhe, Monferrato and Roero. The town has developed on a rolling hill and consists of three large districts surrounding the old town. Several farmhouses and the town hamlets are scattered across the vineyards on the surrounding hills, including Gorzano, where Agriturismo Cà Nadin is located.

Colline Alfieri

A happy island at the intersection of three large areas, Monferrato, Roero and the Langhe, which summarises all of their different morphological and landscape characteristics. A small but varied area that includes towns of different size, position and geographical connotation, but with a similar territorial identity, with amazing landscapes, fields, wineries and workshops and the historical and cultural heritage of the Alfieri Hills.

Cisterna d'Asti

Cisterna d’Asti is basically a hill town, with woods and vineyards. It is a typical ancient town, once surrounded by walls and escarpments and dominated by two building complexes: the castle and the parish church. The medieval castle dates back to the 11th or 12th century; the town takes its name from the water cistern located inside the castle. It has housed the Museo Arti e Mestieri di un Tempo since 1980.
